Bloom's Taxonomy provides six categories that provide an excellent opportunity to assist educators in writing effective assessments that measure a wide spectrum of learning ranging from basic knowledge comprehension to higher level critical thinking skills. The University of Georgia's College of Education created a guide to writing questions based on Bloom's taxonomy. We hope that everyone had a great spring semester. Summer break is upon us and AAAE is busy preparing for the fall conference among other items. 

Do you have a great idea that you want to share?
Have you conducted research and want to share the findings?
Is there a new initiative that your school is trying out?
Do you want to share an effective teaching practice?
*If the answer is yes to any of the above we encourage you to submit a proposal to present at our fall conference.

AAAE also wants to recognize the adjunct / part-time faculty members in a very special way. If you know of someone who fits into this category and you would like to nominate them for our Adjunct of the Year award please do so. The winner will be announced at dinner during our conference. 

Forms are found on our homepage for both proposals and nominations. The deadline to submit a proposal, and to nominate someone for the Adjunct of the Year award is June 24th. Registration is now in full swing. Join us this fall!

• $3000 Grant to all new students starting an MBA with Capella on April 8th or May 20th.

    starting classes in April, May, or June

The 2013 conference will be held on November 2, 2013 at the Lone Star Community building located in The Woodlands, TX. If you are interested in presenting we encourage you to submit a proposal. Registration information will be anounced in the coming weeks.
